Privacy Policy

How we handle
your information

This policy explains what data Augmentra collects, why, and how it is protected. Last updated: 24 March 2025.

1. Who we are

Augmentra ("we", "us", "our") provides AI-powered operations automation for service businesses. This website is operated by Augmentra. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at admin@augmentra.io.

2. What information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit the waitlist or contact form on this website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your industry (optional, if provided)
  • Any message or notes you include

Automatically collected information

We do not use third-party analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising trackers. Standard web server logs may record your IP address and browser type for security and diagnostic purposes. These logs are not used for profiling or marketing.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. No persistent identifiers are stored in your browser beyond what is technically required for the site to function.

3. How we use your information

Information collected via this website is used solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or waitlist registration
  • Contact you about Augmentra products and services you have expressed interest in
  • Improve this website (via server-level diagnostics only)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. LinkedIn API usage

Augmentra uses the LinkedIn API (w_organization_social scope) solely to publish content to the Augmentra company page on LinkedIn. Specifically:

  • The API is authenticated by a single internal Augmentra administrator — no end-user login or OAuth flow is presented to visitors of this website.
  • We do not access, collect, or store any LinkedIn member profile data (including names, email addresses, profile information, or connections) through the API.
  • LinkedIn profile URLs may be stored internally as plain text references for manual review — no programmatic access to any LinkedIn member's data occurs.
  • OAuth access tokens used for posting are stored securely, used only for their stated purpose, and are revoked when no longer needed.
  • We comply with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use.

5. Third-party services

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc.). GitHub may process request metadata (IP address, user agent) as part of serving the site. GitHub's privacy policy is available at github.com.

No other third-party data processors have access to information submitted via this website.

6. Data retention

Enquiry and waitlist submissions are retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected, or until you request deletion. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction — request that inaccurate or incomplete information be corrected
  • Deletion — request that your personal information be deleted
  • Withdrawal of consent — opt out of any communications from us at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email admin@augmentra.io. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Australian Privacy Act

We are committed to compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you believe we have not handled your personal information appropriately, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of this site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
